Everyone posts and gushes about their “amazing” smoothies, right? Kind of annoying from the standpoint of nothing new. (Though I prefer the term fruitshake to smoothie. Deal with it). We all know there’s nothing revelatory about them and yet are so excited we just can’t help ourselves apparently!
3 frozen bananas, a couple handfuls of frozen pineapple, oatmeal, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, spirulina powder, and water. It’s more than a shake, from my view, because I put a fair bit of oats in it so it has a lot of staying power to get me through the morning. A go-to, winning combination.
